Under its vision of offering a differential quality service, preserving the natural environment and ensuring sustainable development in its facilities, El Parador de El Saler joins our aim to furnish the future. It does this by installing 63 tables made from recycled materials that will take on a second life in its rest areas.
ROOMS CONTAINING THE ESSENCE OF THE MEDITERRANEAN
Sustainability and regeneration are the keys to the future to which El Parador de El Saler is firmly committed.
This Parador has been developing energy efficiency projects, reducing the use of plastics and food waste, working on the protection and recovery of endangered species and volunteer and awareness-raising activities, among other actions, for more than 7 years. In addition, as in the rest of the Paradors, 100% of the electricity comes from renewable energies and 100% of the hotel’s water is reused to irrigate the golf course thanks to the Parador’s own water treatment plant.
On this path towards greater respect and care for nature, El Parador de El Saler has collaborated with different organisations including Xaloc, Fundación Global Nature, SEOBirdlife, Bioagradables and the Oceonogràfic Foundation. It now takes a firm step towards being part of our mission to combat the problem of ghost fishing nets lying in the depths of the Mediterranean.
Within the hotel’s interior spaces there is room for our Gravity Wave tables, designed with a formentera finish. These not only reflect its environmental commitment but also convey a different way of doing things, seeking to highlight the care of nature and the oceans.

These are spacious, comfortable and 100% free of non-reusable plastic as individual bottles of shampoo, gel, etc. have been eliminated and replaced by large dispensers.
From now on, these rooms have a touch of the sea in them thanks to our tables made from plastic from the sea.
The tables have a functional design that adapts to the cosy rooms and allows guests to immerse themselves in the freshness of the sea and feel the Mediterranean closer to them.
